Behavior Management Specialist

 

We are currently seeking experienced Behavior Management Specialists to join our team in San Bernardino County, Riverside County, San Gabriel Valley, and the Inland Empire area.

 

Job Description

We are vendored with the Regional Centers in our areas, including Inland Regional Center. We provide in-home behavior modification services to their consumers.

 

Consultants use Applied Behavior Analysis to work with clients and their families. They develop behavior modification techniques to address problematic behaviors and teach them to the families and caregivers. They work in the client's home, school and community.   

Consultants are required to attend weekly meetings, workshops, and individualized trainings.

 

Consultants are required to drive to clients' homes to provide the intervention services, typically one time per week for a three hour period with each client.

Requirements

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in Psychology, Sociology, Education, or a related field required.

  • Experience working with typically developing children or children with developmental delays a plus.

  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices for autism and and other related developmental disorders

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred

  • Must be willing to work after 2 p.m. on weekdays and to work on weekends.

  • Car, valid driver's license, auto insurance and safe driving record are mandatory

  • Must be willing to drive approximately no more than 30 miles to a client's home

  • Must be able to relate to clients and their families. Have good communication skills and maintain confidentiality. Outgoing personality  and organizational skills are a plus

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to write reports

 

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Full-time or part-time positions are available

  • Up to 30 hours of paid training and direct observation by a supervisor before working with own clients.

  • Compensation is given for travel time and mileage

  • Benefits package available: Medical and dental insurance

  • Paid vacation for full time staff (30 hours face to face client hours per week)
